SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Jammu and Kashmir government has extended the ongoing summer vacation for all government and recognised private schools in Kashmir Division and winter zones of Jammu Division till July 22 in view of the prevailing weather conditions.
Education Minister Sakina Itoo announced the decision through a post on X, stating that the vacation period has been extended considering the current weather situation.
Earlier, the summer vacation for these schools was scheduled from July 6 to July 19, with schools set to reopen on July 20. The extension will now keep the institutions closed till July 22. — (KIMS)
