Sunny weather to continue in Jammu and Kashmir: MeT

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Meteorological Department on Saturday forecast dry and sunny weather in Jammu and Kashmir for next 24 hours.

The weather was dry and sunny in the Union Territory during last 24 hours.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, Dry, sunny weather is expected to continue in J&K during the next 24 hours.

He said, Srinagar recorded 4.7 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg 1.0 degrees Celsius while Pahalgam recorded minus 0.4 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Saturday.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 14.8 degrees Celsius, Katra 13.6 degrees Celsius, Batote 10.3 degrees Celsius, Banihal 9.4 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 5.0 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Kargil recorded 0.2 degrees Celsius and Leh minus 3.4 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
