Sunny weather to continue in J&K: MeT

SRINAGAR — The Meteorological Department on Sunday forecast dry and sunny weather in Jammu and Kashmir for next 24 hours.

The weather remained dry in the Union Territory during last 24 hours.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, pleasant sunny weather is expected in J&K during the next 24 hours.

He said, Srinagar recorded 3.4 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg 2.0 degrees Celsius while Pahalgam recorded minus 0.4 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 15.4 degrees Celsius, Katra 13.7 degrees Celsius, Batote 9.2 degrees Celsius, Banihal 4.3 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 6.6 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Drass recorded minus 12.3 degrees Celsius, Kargil minus 16.7 degrees Celsius and Leh minus 4.8 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
