SRINAGAR — A teacher has been arrested for sexually harassing and inappropriately touching a minor girl in Chanapora area of Srinagar, Police said on Tuesday.
Police said, a tuition teacher namely Abdul Wahid Bhat son of Abdul Rehman Bhat, a resident of Khan Colony Chanapora, Srinagar was arrested for sexually harassing and inappropriately touching a 9-year-old girl.
The accused teacher has confessed his crime, Police said, adding a FIR No 14 of 2023 u/s 354 IPC & 12 POCSO Act has been registered in Chanapora Police Station. — (KIMS)
