KUPWARA — Five family members of a family from Uttar Pradesh including three children die of suffocation in Kupwara district of North Kashmir on Wednesday.
Quoting officials, news agency KNO reported that the family members including three children from Bijnor Uttar Pradesh were found dead at their rented accommodation in Kralpora area of Kupwara district.
The official as per the report identified the deceased as Majid Ahmad son of Ahmad Hussain, his wife Sohana Khatoon, their children Faizan Ansari, Abu Zar and a few-days-old infant.
While confirming the incident, Block Medical Officer (BMO) Kralpora Dr Mohammad Shafi said all the five members have died due to suffocation. He said that their bodies are being brought to hospital for legal and medical formalities.
