UDHAMPUR (KIMS) — Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday apprehended three interstate narco smugglers in Udhampur and recovered heroin like substance from their possession.
Police Station Rehambal while performing routine vehicle checking at Phalata naka point recovered 22 grams of heroin like substance from three narco smugglers who were travelling in a vehicle bearing Registeration No. JK01AX-6717 which was on its way from Jammu towards Udhampur, who have been arrested.
The arrested persons have been identified as Ishfaq Ahmed S/o Abdul Hamid R/o Zangi Bagh, Natipora, Srinagar. Farooq S/o Sehidul R/o New Seema Puri, East Delhi. Mohd Kamal Hussain S/o Mohd Manan Hussain R/o Indira Gandhi Camp, Taimoor Nagar, South Delhi.
In this connection, a case FIR No. 52/2025 under sections 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Rehambal and further investigation is going on. — (KIMS)
