Three self-styled leaders arrested for threatening, intimidating media persons in Srinagar: Police

SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday said, it has arrested three self-styled leaders for threatening and intimidating media persons in Srinagar.

They also gave anti-national byte (statement) in a press conference yesterday, it said.

Police said, three miscreants namely Suhail Khan, Nadeem Shafi Rather and Umar Majeed Wani were arrested for threatening and intimidating media persons.

They were self styled leaders and had threatened and intimidated media persons, police said, adding that they gave anti-national byte (statement) yesterday in a press conference.

In this regard, police has registered a FIR no 05/2023 under relevant sections of law at Kothibagh Police Station. — (KIMS)
