SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Home Department of Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday ordered transfers and postings of seven police officers in the Union territory.
The department has ordered transfers and postings of these officers in the interest of administration with immediate effect.
According to an order, “Ms. P. D. Nitya, IPS, SSP Doda, is transferred and posted as SSP Pulwama, vice Shri Javid Iqbal, Shri Gaurav Sikarwar, IPS, SP South Srinagar, is transferred and posted as SP State Investigation Agency, Kashmir, vice Shri Mubbasher Hussain, Shri Javid Iqbal, SSP Pulwama, is transferred and posted as SSP Doda, vice Ms. P. D. Nitya, IPS, Shri Rajinder Singh, Deputy Commandant IR-21st Battalion, is transferred and posted as Addl. SP (Highway) Qazigund, vice Shri Shabir Ahmad Khan, Shri Feroz Ahmad, Addl. SP Pulwama, is transferred and posted as SP Operations, Baramulla. One post of Superintendent of Police from the overall reserves shall be utilized for the purpose of drawl of salary of the officer and Shri Shabir Ahmad Khan, Addl SP (Highway) Qazigund, is transferred and posted as SP South Srinagar, vice Shri Gaurav Sikarwar, IPS.”
“Shri Mubbasher Hussain, SP State Investigation Agency, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as SP East Srinagar, vice Shri Shree Ram R, IPS, who is relieved from the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir to join his new place of posting víz Union territory of Ladakh,” reads the order issued by Raj Kumar Goyal (IAS), Financial Commissioner/Additional Chief Secretary to the Government. — (KIMS)
