Two arrested for attempting to rape young women from Kashmir

BENGALURU — In a shocking incident from Bengaluru, two men tried to rape two women hailing from Kashmir.

Giving details of the incident, the Karnataka Police stated that the accused had invited the two young women for a party to their residence on February 5. After partying till 2:30 am, the men tried to rape the women, who were in an inebriated state.

The women resisted their advances and somehow freed themselves from their clutches and locked themselves in the bathroom.

After spending the whole night inside the bathroom, they managed to flee from the house in the morning.

According to the police, the accused and the two young women were known to each other as they had studied in the same college.

The women were working in different companies while the accused men were studying MBA. Meanwhile, the police are investigating the case.

The Karnataka Police on February 5 arrested the two men on allegations of attempting to rape the two young women from Kashmir.

The incident took place in the limits of Viveknagar Police Station.

After fleeing form the residence of the accused persons, the young women lodged a police complaint against them. — (Time Now)
