PULWAMA (KIMS) — While continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested two drug peddlers in Pulwama district of South Kashmir and recovered psychotropic substances from their possession.
“On a specific information about concealing of narcotic substance at the residential houses of two drug peddlers at Kisrigam Kakapora, a police party from Police Station Kakapora raided both the residential houses and recovered 10.760 Kgs of grinded Charras Powder from the residential house of Bilal Ahmad Dar, son of Gh. Nabi Dar and 7.830 Kgs of grinded Charras Powder from the residential house of Irshad Ahmad Mantoo, son of Gh. Nabi Mantoo,” police said in a statement.
“Both the accused have been arrested and accordingly a Case FIR No. 04/2025 and FIR No. 05/2025 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Kakapora respectively and investigation is set into motion,” the statement said. — (KIMS)
