Two persons booked under PSA in Baramulla, shifted to Kot Balwal Jail Jammu

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Two persons have been booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) in Baramulla district of North Kashmir for their involvement in disturbance of law and order, Jammu and Kashmir Police said on Monday.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police in Baramulla district in a press release said, “While acting tough against anti-national elements, two persons namely Fayaz Ahmad Kumar @ Narshima, son of Ghulam Qadir, a resident of Khanpora Baramulla and Safeer Ahmad Bhat @ Safeer Molvi, son of Ab Majeed Bhat, a resident of Janbazpora Baramulla have been booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority.”

“The duo has been detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Kot-Balwal Jammu,” the press release said.

“Many cases are registered against these persons and were involved in disturbance of Law & Order and subversion. Despite their involvement in many FIRs, they did not mend their anti-national & social activities,” the press release said. — (KIMS)
