Two persons thrashed at the screening of ‘The Kashmir Files’ in Telangana

ADILABAD — Tension prevailed when a section of the audience in a theatre thrashed two persons at the screening of the much debated ‘The Kashmir Files’ In Telangana on Friday, reported Telangana Today.

The Superintendent of Police D Uday Kumar said that the two, who were in an inebriated condition, raised “pro-Pakistani” slogans resulting in the tension.

The situation was, however, brought under control, he stated.

The Superintendent said that no one had lodged a complaint so far.

It is learned that the two were beaten up by some people in the audience who were watching the movie.

They fled from the theatre after they were thrashed, he said.

The identities of the persons involved in the thrashing have not been established yet.
