UP tourist dies of ‘suspected’ heart attack in Hyderpora

SRINAGAR — A tourist from Uttar Pradesh died of a ‘suspected’ heart attack at a luxury hotel falling in the jurisdiction of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday, officials said

An official said that 56-year-old Gayas Ud Din Ansari son of Jalal Ud Din from Uttar Pradesh fell unconscious at Golden Tulip in the jurisdiction of Police post Hyderpora.

He was shifted from the hotel to JVC hospital where doctors declared him dead on his arrival, he said.

The body is in the possession of tourist police for further legal formalities, he added. — (KDC)
