Vehicular movement on Srinagar-Jammu Highway to remain suspended on Sunday

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The vehicular movement on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway will remain suspended on Sunday due to repair work at Dalwas area of Ramban district, officials said.

Officials said, “In view of urgent repair work at Dalwas Ramban, the vehicular movement on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway (NH-44) will remain suspended from Nashri towards NAVYUG Tunnel and vice versa on Sunday (22-10-2023).”

“No vehicle shall be allowed after 1800 hours on Saturday (21-10-2023) from Qazigund towards Jammu and from Udhampur towards Srinagar,” they said.

The officials have advised people to avoid any journey on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway from tomorrow evening. “People are advised to avoid journey on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway from 1800 hours tomorrow on 21-10-2023 and plan their journey accordingly,” they said.

“However, the Mughal Road will remain open for vehicular movement,” they said. — (KIMS)
