Vehicular movement restored on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — After remaining closed for a day due to road widening works at Ramban district, the vehicular movement was on Wednesday restored on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.

According to Traffic Officials, the vehicular movement was restored on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway today at around 08:00 am and the traffic was single way at Dalwas area of Ramban district.

The Officials also advised all commuters to observe lane discipline and strictly follow directions of the law enforcement agencies.

The Officials had suspended vehicular movement on highway for 24 hours from Tuesday 08:00 am to Wednesday 08:00 am due to road widening works at Kishtwari Pather and Dalwas areas of Ramban district.

Meanwhile, SSG Road, Mughal road, Kishtwar-Sinthan-Anantnag road and Bhaderwah-Chamba road is closed for vehicular movement due to snow accumulation. — (KIMS)
