SRINAGAR — The Meteorological Department on Saturday forecast widespread light to moderate rain in Jammu and Kashmir for next 24 hours.
The weather was inclement in the Union Territory during last 24 hours.
An official of the Meteorological Department said, Fairly widespread light to moderate rain is likely in J&K during the 24 hours.
In Kashmir division, he said, Srinagar recorded 6.8 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam 2.1 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg 0.5 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature on Saturday.
In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 15.2 degrees Celsius, Katra 13.0 degrees Celsius, Batote 6.1 degrees Celsius, Banihal 4.4 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 7.0 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.
In Ladakh region, he said, Drass recorded minus 1.3 degrees Celsius and Leh minus 3.4 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
