JAMMU (KIMS) — In view of prevailing extreme cold conditions, the Directorate of School Education (DSEJ), Jammu on Sunday extended the Winter vacation for schools upto higher secondary level (12th) till January 27.
According to a communique, In view of prevailing extreme cold conditions, all the schools upto 12 class functioning in Summer Zones of Jammu Division shall observe vacations w.e.f. January 22 to 27, 2024.
The students practicing for participation in Republic Day celebrations shall continue to come for the rehearsal, it said.
The HOIs shall ensure that all the arrangements for the Republic Day Function are in place including enthusiastic participation of the students, it added. — (KIMS)
