14 marlas residential land of LeT associate attached in Bandipora: Police

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday attached 14 marlas of resident land in Bandipora district of North Kashmir.

Jammu and Kashmir Police in Bandipora district in a post on X (formerly Twitter) said, “The residential land belonging to the family of a militant associate of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit, Irfan Ahmad Bhat whose brother had also exfiltrated to Pakistan in 2000 has been attached in Ashtengoo village of the district in case FIR No. 43/2022.”

“The land had been identified as proceeds of militancy and was attached under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA),” the post said. — (KIMS)
