SRINAGAR (KIMS) — A man was shot dead in a militant attack in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district in South Kashmir on Wednesday evening.
Reports said, a man identified as Raja Shah, son of Shankar Shah of Bihar, was critically injured after he was fired upon by suspected militants at Bilal Colony, Jablipora Bijbehara where he is presently living.
He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment where declared him brought dead, they said.
Meanwhile, security forces have cordoned off the area to nab the attackers. — (KIMS)
