SRINAGAR (KIMS) — A woman has been arrested for a scam involving the swapping of ATM cards, Jammu and Kashmir Police said on Thursday.
Police said, a woman namely Zeenat, daughter of Ghulam Ah Pampori, resident of Saraibala, has been arrested for cheating gullible citizens by swapping ATM cards while posing as help outside ATMs.
30 ATM Cards, Rs 39,130 in cash, and several gold items were recovered from her possession, they said.
In this regard, a Case FIR No. 17/2024 under section 379, 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered in Police Station Khanyar and further investigation has been taken up. — (KIMS)
