Budgam Encounter: Militants flee after brief encounter

SRINAGAR — Militants managed to have fled from the encounter site at Radbugh village in Magam area of Budgam district in Central Kashmir on Sunday.

Reports said an encounter had broken out between joint team of government forces including Indian Army, J&K Police and CRPF and militants at Radbugh village in Budgam district this morning.

They said, their was a brief encounter after that there was a complete lull following which massive searches were launched in the area, adding no second contact established with militants nor any one was arrested, suggesting that the unknown number of militants fled from the spot.

Earlier an encounter broke out in Radbugh village of Budgam district after joint team of government forces had launched Cordon-and-Search-Operation (CASO) in the village following the inputs about presence of militants in the area.
