Srinagar (KIMS): Waheed-ur-Rehaman Parra, PDP (People’s Democratic Party) Youth President and winner of DDC (District Development Council) seat from Pulwama was on Saturday gets bail from NIA (National Investigation Agency) Court after more than a month.
Waheed was arrested by NIA (National Investigation Agency) in November 2020 in connection with suspended Deputy Superintendent (DySp) Davinder Singh’s case.
Waheed also won a Pulwama seat in DDC (District Development Council) elections which were held recently in Jammu and Kashmir.
He was People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) candidate from Pulwama and was arrested before DDC (District Development Council) elections. He remained in custody till elections were over and on Saturday (9th January, 2021) he got bail from NIA (National Investigation Agency) Court.
PDP (People’s Democratic Party) spokesperson Najmu Saqib also confirmed the release of Party Youth President Waheed-ur-Rehaman Parra. (KIMS)
