Dry, sunny weather to continue in Jammu and Kashmir: MeT

SRINAGAR — Dry and sunny weather will continue in Jammu and Kashmir during next 24 hours, the Meteorological Department said on Friday.

The weather was dry and sunny during the last 24 hours in the Union Territory.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, pleasant, dry weather is likely to continue during the next 24 hours in J&K.

He said, Srinagar recorded 3.2 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg 0.6 degrees Celsius while Pahalgam recorded minus 1.2 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 14.6 degrees Celsius, Katra 13.1 degrees Celsius, Batote 8.0 degrees Celsius and Banihal 3.8 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Drass recorded minus 13.8 degrees Celsius, both Kargil and Leh recorded minus 5.8 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
