DSEK orders change of school timing in Kashmir

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Directorate of School Education, Kashmir (DSEK) on Monday ordered change in the timing of both government and recognized private schools in Kashmir division.

The new school timing shall come in effect from April 12, 2024.

According to a communique, “The schools falling within the Municipal limits of Srinagar District shall function from 09:00 am to 03:00 pm while the schools falling outside Municipal limits of Srinagar District and other areas of Kashmir Province shall function from 10:00 am to 04:00 pm.”

“All the concerned institutions must strictly adhere to the given order/instructions and any deviation in this regard will be viewed seriously,” reads the communique. — (KIMS)
