ANANTNAG [Sheikh Nadeem] (KIMS) — The Scholars Scientific Institute in Mominabad area of Anantnag district of South Kashmir on Monday organized a day long program Shan-e-Ramzan at their school premises.
The program was organized to celebrate the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan. The students participated with great fervour and spirit in Na’at recitation, Tilawat-e-Quran and Seerat-un-Nabi during the program.
The purpose of this program was to highlight the importance of this holy month and to educate students about the teachings of the Quran. Different competitions like Husn-e-Qirat, Husn-e-Naat, Islamic Songs, Fazilat E Ramzan, Roozu ki Ahmiyat Topics were held.
The students lauded the efforts made by the school adminstration, especially Principal mam and demanded to continue such events.
Meanwhile, Principal Scholars Scientific Institute, Ms. Masrat Jan while talking to media on the occasion said, “I appreciate students for their enthusiasm and commitment shown for this program. Such programs make them relaxed and feel spiritually blessed.”
She also felicitated the students by presenting them with certificates and mementoes to the participants. — (KIMS)
