SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Government in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday ordered transfers and postings of 35 Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officers.
The Government’s General Administration Department (GAD) ordered transfers and postings of these officers in the interest of administration with immediate effect.
According to an order, “Mr. Pawan Kumar, JKAS, Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, holding additional charge of Regional Director, Survey and Land Records (ex-officio Settlement Officer), Rajouri, is transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Labour and Employment Department, Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa, JKAS, Special Secretary to the Government, Labour and Employment Department, is transferred and posted Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajouri. He shall also hold the charge of the post of Regional Director, Survey and Land Records (ex-officio Settlement Officer), Rajouri, in addition to his own duties, till further orders, Mr. Basharat Hussain, JKAS, Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Kathua, is transferred and posted as Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Rajouri and Mr. Shokat Mehmood, JKAS, Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Rajouri, is transferred and posted as Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Kathua.”
