Intermittent rain, thunderstorm at many places in J&K for next 24 hours: MeT

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Meteorological Department (MeT) on Friday forecast intermittent rain and thunderstorm at many places in Jammu and Kashmir for the next 24 hours.

An official of the Meteorological Department (MeT) said, The weather will remain generally cloudy today. However, intermittent rain and thunderstorm is expected at many places of Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.

He said, Intermittent light to moderate rain or shower is expected at many places of Jammu and Kashmir on July 8 and 9, 2023.

Meanwhile, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar recorded 16.8°C, Anantnag 15.4°C, Qazigund 15.6°C, Kupwara 15.3°C, Kokernag 14.7°C, Gulmarg 10.2°C and Pahalgam 10.1°C as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Friday.

The winter capital Jammu recorded 24.3°C, Katra 21.5°C, Batote 18.5°C, Bhaderwah 15.8°C, Banihal 17.9°C, Udhampur 23.5°C and Patnitop 18.4°C as the minimum temperature in Jammu region.

In Ladakh region, Leh recorded 7.8°C and Kargil 12.5°C as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
