JKBOSE postpones examination of Vocational Subjects of Class 10th on March 7

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Tuesday postponed the annual examination of Vocational Subjects of Class 10th which was scheduled to be held on March 7.

The examination of Vocational Subjects shall now be held on April 4, 2024.

According to Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) notification, “In view of unavoidable circumstances the Examination of Vocational Subjects i.e. (Agriculture/Apparels, Makeup & Home Furnishing/Automotive/ Beauty and Wellness/Health Care/IT& ITES/Physical Education & Sports/ Plumbing/Retail/Security/ Telecommunication/ Tourism and Hospitality/ Electronics and Hardware) of Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) Session Annual (Regular) 2024 of Soft Zone areas of UT of Jammu & Kashmir, which was scheduled to be held on 07-03-2024 (Thursday), has been postponed and shall be held on 04-04-2024 (Thursday).”

“The Examination of rest of the subjects scheduled with effect from March 11, 2024 shall be held accordingly as per date sheet already issued in this behalf,” reads the notification.

It is pertinent to mention that the Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Kashmir on March 7 (Thursday) and address a rally in Srinagar. — (KIMS)
