JKNC holds party workers convention in Thajiwara Anantnag

ANANTNAG — National Conference on thursday organised a one day workers covention at Thajiwara, Achabal area of Anantnag district in presence of Former Chief Minister and Vice Presidemt Omar Abdullah.

Besides, Former Chief Minister, Nasir Sogami, Constituency Incharge Peer Mohammad Hussain, District President Altaf Kaloo, Youth National Conference Media Incharge Hashim Hussain, Bashir ahmad Veeri, Advocate Riyaz Ahmad khan DDC Member Achabal Sameena Hussain were also present in the convention.

While addressing the convention Omar Abdullah termed National Conference the only party with road map for development, prosperity and peace for the Jammu and Kashmir.

Omar Abdullah on Tuesday announced that his will revoke the Jammu and Kashmir Public Safety Act or PSA if his party returns to power.

While addressing party workers at Thajiwara Anantnag, Omar Abdullah said that he has said it before 3-4 years but today he is repeating his promise the day NC returns to power, first they will revoke Public Safety Act.

He said that upcoming election whenever it will be held will be fought for our own identity and people in large number must participate in it.

“Elections are generally contested for the development but this time elections will be fought for identity so that land, job and other rights will be there for locals,”said Abdullah.


He said that promises made by the BJP when special status of J&K was arrogated have proven hoax on ground as almost every recruitment process is being scrapped.

“On 05 August, 2019 we were kept in Jails and it was being said that these people are responsible for mess in J&K but since then three years have passed but forget new projects, they failed to complete even our projects.” Omar Abdullah said.

In their respective addresses, Peer Mohamad Hashim Sameena Hussain and other leaders impressed on the workers to further strengthen the party cadres at grassroot level and apprise the people about Party’s people agenda.
