Mainly clear sky in J&K during next 24 hours: MeT

SRINAGAR — The Meteorological Department on Sunday forecast mainly clear sky in Jammu and Kashmir for next 24 hours.

The weather was dry and sunny in the Union Territory yesterday.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, mainly clear to partly cloudy sky is likely in J&K during next 24 hours.

He said, Srinagar recorded 4.2 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam 0.6 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg 2.2 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 15.8 degrees Celsius, Katra 15.3 degrees Celsius, Batote 10.5 degrees Celsius, Banihal 5.6 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 7.5 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Drass recorded minus 11.6 degrees Celsius and Leh minus 3.6 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
