JAMMU (KIMS) — A man has been arrested for killing his nephew in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, media reports said, quoting officials.
Joginder Singh, an ex-serviceman and currently a member of the village defense guard, fired upon his nephew, Gagandeep Singh, with his licensed 12 Bore Rifle, resulting in Gagandeep’s death on the spot.
The incident occurred during an argument over a family dispute at their residence in the Dara Dullian area of Poonch district during the intervening night of Friday-Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested Joginder Singh, and the weapon used in the offense has also been seized. — (KIMS)
