MeT forecasts dry weather with clear sky in J&K

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Meteorological Department on Wednesday forecast dry weather with clear sky in Jammu and Kashmir for next 24 hours.

The weather was dry in the Union Territory during last 24 hours.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, Dry weather with clear sky is likely in J&K during the next 24 hours.

He said, Srinagar recorded 7.4 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam 2.5 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg 3.6 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Wednesday.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 17.9 degrees Celsius, Katra 16.7 degrees Celsius, Batote 12.0 degrees Celsius, Banihal 6.9 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 7.7 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Kargil recorded 1.4 degrees Celsius while Leh recorded minus 1.8 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
