MeT forecasts dry weather with clear sky in J&K

SRINAGAR — The Meteorological Department on Monday forecast dry weather with clear sky in Jammu and Kashmir during next 24 hours.

The weather was cloudy in the Union Territory during last 24 hours.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, dry weather with clear sky is expected in J&K during the next 24 hours.

He said, Srinagar recorded 3.5 degrees Celsius while Pahalgam and Gulmarg recorded minus 2.0 degrees Celsius and minus 1.6 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 12.2 degrees Celsius, Katra 11.6 degrees Celsius, Batote 7.2 degrees Celsius, Banihal 5.8 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 3.6 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Kargil recorded minus 3.6 degrees Celsius and Leh recorded minus 6.6 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
