MeT forecasts inclement weather in Jammu and Kashmir for next 24 hours

SRINAGAR — The Meteorological Department on Monday forecast inclement weather in Jammu and Kashmir for next 24 hours.

The weather was cloudy in the Union Territory during last 24 hours.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, Partly to mainly cloudy weather with rain/thunderstorms very likely at scattered places from late afternoon onwards.

He said, Srinagar recorded 10.7 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam 5.5 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg 3.5 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Monday.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 25.9 degrees Celsius, Katra 20.8 degrees Celsius, Batote 13.0 degrees Celsius, Banihal and Bhaderwah 10.8 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 8.9 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Leh recorded 2.0 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.
