SRINAGAR — The Meteorological Department on Saturday forecast intermittent rain and thundershowers in Jammu and Kashmir for the next 24 hours.
The weather was cloudy in the Union Territory during last 24 hours.
An official of the Meteorological Department said, Widespread intermittent rain/thundershowers likely to occur in J&K during next 24 hours.
He said, Srinagar recorded 9.1 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam 4.6 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg 0.8 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Saturday.
In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 14.7 degrees Celsius, Katra 12.6 degrees Celsius, Batote 8.1 degrees Celsius, Banihal 8.4 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 7.4 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.
In Ladakh region, he said, Drass recorded 1.4 degrees Celsius and Kargil 2.1 degrees Celsius while Leh recorded minus 1.2 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.
