MeT forecasts rain at isolated places for till July 14

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Meteorological Department (MeT) on Wednesday forecast rain at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir till July 14, 2023.

An official of the Meteorological Department (MeT) said, The weather will remain mainly dry in Jammu and Kashmir till July 14, 2023. A brief spell of rain or thunderstorm at isolated places can’t be ruled out during this period.

He said, Intermittent light to moderate rain is expected at many places of Jammu and Kashmir from July 15-17, 2023.

Meanwhile, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar recorded 16.8°C, Anantnag 14.4°C, Qazigund 14.5°C, Kupwara 14.9°C, Kokernag 14.7°C, Gulmarg 11.2°C and Pahalgam 10.6°C as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Wednesday.

The winter capital Jammu recorded 27.2°C, Katra 23.6°C, Batote 17.3°C, Bhaderwah 14.2°C, Banihal 17.4°C, Udhampur 24.6°C and Patnitop 17.0°C as the minimum temperature in Jammu region.

In Ladakh region, Leh recorded 10.4°C and Kargil 12.2°C as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
