SRINAGAR — Following his repatriation from central deputation, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India on Friday posted senior IPS officer Nitish Kumar to Jammu and Kashmir.
Consequent upon his repatriation from Central Deputation, Sh. Nitish Kumar, IPS (AGMUT:1999) is hereby posted to Jammu & Kashmir with immediate effect and until further orders,” reads the MHA order.
However, quoting sources news agency KDC reported that Kumar will be adjusted at a top position in police and order in this regard is expected in coming days.
