ANANTNAG [Sheikh Nadeem] (KIMS) — NoorKash Foundation today held a key meeting at its Khanbal office, celebrating the successful completion of its main registration process, which members termed a significant milestone.
The meeting resulted in the announcement of district-level appointments. In Anantnag, Mr. Fazil Ahmad was named District President, Mr. Owais Ahmad Naik as Vice President and NGO Advisor, Mr. Rashid Hussain as District Secretary, and Mr. Sheikh Nadeem as Media Incharge. The body has also been tasked with preparing teams in Anantnag and Kulgam.
In Baramulla, Mr. Rashid Mir from Sopore was appointed District President, with instructions to form a volunteer team in the district.
Other decisions included annual elections for district bodies based on performance, a seven-month volunteer period for new members before full membership, and accountability measures for unethical conduct. District committees will work closely with the foundation’s President and Vice President, while Mr. Ishfaq Ahmad handles official correspondence with prior approvals.
Additional support for Anantnag was assigned to Mr. Moyeem Ahmad (Secretary) and Mr. Zakir Ahmad (Treasurer), both residents of the district.
The meeting concluded with members committing to strengthen NoorKash Foundation’s mission and work collectively for societal welfare. — (KIMS)
