PULWAMA (KIMS) — In preparation for the upcoming Parliamentary elections, the Jammu and Kashmir Police in Pulwama district, in collaboration with CAPF, on Saturday conducted flag marches across the district.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police in a statement said, “The objective of these flag marches was to ensure a secure and harmonious environment, fostering confidence in the electoral process. These proactive measures aim to guarantee free, fair, and fear-free elections, promoting democratic values.”
“The visible presence of law enforcement aims to reassure citizens and deter any disruptions,” the statement said.
“Community cooperation is appreciated, and all stakeholders are urged to contribute to maintaining peace and stability during this crucial electoral period,” the statement added. — (KIMS)
