Partly cloudy weather in J&K for next 24 hours: MeT

SRINAGAR — The Meteorological Department on Sunday forecast partly cloudy weather in Jammu and Kashmir for next 24 hours.

The weather was inclement in the Union Territory during last 24 hours.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, Partly cloudy weather with chances of light rain likely in J&K during next 24 hours.

He said, in Kashmir region, Srinagar recorded 6.7 degrees Celsius and Pahalgam 2.7 degrees Celsius while Gulmarg recorded minus 0.6 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 12.3 degrees Celsius, Katra 9.5 degrees Celsius, Batote 4.7 degrees Celsius, Banihal 3.6 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 4.1 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Kargil recorded 2.6 degrees Celsius while Drass and Leh recorded minus 0.9 degrees Celsius and minus 2.6 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.
