Partly cloudy weather in J&K for next 24 hours: MeT

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Meteorological Department on Wednesday forecast partly cloudy weather in Jammu and Kashmir for the next 24 hours.

The weather was dry and sunny in the Union Territory during last 24 hours.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, Partly cloudy sky with rain at isolated places is likely in J&K during the next 24 hours.

He said, Srinagar recorded 5.5 degrees Celsius and Gulmarg 0 degrees Celsius while Pahalgam recorded minus 0.3 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Wednesday.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 15.5 degrees Celsius, Katra 12.6 degrees Celsius, Batote 7.7 degrees Celsius, Banihal 5.0 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 4.5 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Drass recorded minus 5.1 degrees Celsius, Kargil minus 1.0 degrees Celsius and Leh minus 3.2 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
