As per the attachment order, the owner has been barred from selling, leasing, transferring or creating any third-party interest in the property until further orders.

In another action, Police Post Qamarwari attached a double-storey residential house belonging to alleged notorious drug peddler Basit Ahmad Baba alias Aikan, son of Mohammad Yousuf Baba, resident of Barthana Qamarwari.

The property was attached under Section 68(F)(1) of the NDPS Act, 1985, as part of efforts to dismantle the financial networks of drug peddlers by targeting assets acquired through the narcotics trade.

Police reiterated its commitment towards eradicating drug abuse and trafficking by taking strict legal action against offenders as well as properties generated through illegal drug trade.
