Seven JKAS among eight officers transferred in J&K

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The General Administration Department (GAD) of Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered transfers and postings of eight officers in the Union Territory.

The Department has ordered transfers and postings of seven Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) Officers and an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officer in the interest of administration with immediate effect.

According to an order, “Ms. Rehana Batul, IAS, Secretary to the Government, Labour and Employment Department, holding additional charge of Secretary to the Government, Public Grievances, shall also hold the charge of the post of Labour Commissioner, J&K, in addition to her own duties, till further orders.”

“Mr. Abdul Rashid War, JKAS, Labour Commissioner, J&K, is hereby transferred and posted as Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir, vice Mr. Reyaz Ahmad Sofi, JKAS, who shall await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, Mr. Mohammad Ashraf, JKAS, Deputy Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Social Welfare, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Srinagar, Mr. Mohammad Rafeeq Bhat, JKAS, Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Bandipore, Mr. Noor-ud-din Bhat, JKAS, Deputy District Election Officer, Bandipore, is transferred and posted as Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir, Mr. Shakeel Hussain, JKAS, Deputy District Election Officer, Srinagar, is transferred and posted as Deputy Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Social Welfare, Kashmir, Mr. Om Parkash, JKAS, District Panchayat Officer, Reasi, is transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Doda and Mr. Harvinder Singh, JKAS, Private Secretary with Chairman, Advisory Board under J&K Public Safety Act, is transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Samba, against an available vacancy,” reads an order. — (KIMS)
