SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Speculations surrounding the resignation of Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Mr. Manoj Sinha, have finally ended as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced its candidate for the Ghazipur constituency on Wednesday.
Mr. Paras Nath Rai, a close aide of Mr. Manoj Sinha, has been nominated as the BJP candidate for the Ghazipur constituency.
With the BJP’s announcement of a candidate for Ghazipur, the speculations surrounding Mr. Manoj Sinha’s resignation have come to an end, as he will not be contesting in the upcoming elections.
Earlier, the news went viral on Social Media that Mr. Manoj Sinha will be resigning as the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and will be contesting Lok Sabha Election from Ghazipur constituency.
