Two juveniles stab boy in Srinagar, arrested: Police

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday said that they arrested two juveniles for stabbing and injuring a boy in Srinagar.

Police said, a boy namely Haseeb Bhat of Sonwar was stabbed and injured by two juveniles in Sonwar area of Srinagar. Haseeb was shifted to hospital for treatment where his condition is stated to be stable.

Both the accused juveniles (name withheld) one from Sonwar and other from Rajbagh were arrested and the weapon of offence was recovered from their possession, police said.

In this regard, a FIR No 22/2023 U/s 341, 323, 307, 34 of IPC has been registered at Kothibagh Police Station.

Notably, the Kashmir valley particularly Srinagar district has seen rise in stabbing cases in the recent past. — (KIMS)
