Two suspected individuals apprehended in Bijbehara, war-like stores recovered: Army

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Indian Army along with Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested two suspected individuals in Bijbehara town of Anantnag district of South Kashmir.

The two individuals were arrested after a joint team of forces including Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police had established a Naka at Jablipora area of Bijbehara town, Army said.

One Pistol and war-like stores were recovered from their possession. Investigation is in progress, they said.

The Indian Army’s Chinar Corps in a post on X said, “Based on intelligence inputs, a Joint Mobile Vehicle Check Post (MVCP) was established on 11 Dec 23 by IndianArmy & JmuKmrPolice at Zabilpura, Bijbehara, Anantnag. Two suspected individuals have been apprehended with recovery of 01xPistol & war-like stores. Investigation in progress.” — (KIMS)
