BUDGAM — A woman was killed while as her nephew sustained injuries after unknown gunmen fired upon them at Hushroo village in Chadoora area of Budgam district in Central Kashmir.
Reports said, a woman identified as Amreena Bhat, daughter of Khazir Mohd Bhat from Hushroo Chadoora and her 10-year-old nephew was fired upon by unknown gunmen at their residence, leaving them seriously injured.
They said that the duo were rushed to Sub District Hospital Chadoora for treatment where from doctors referred them to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment.
However Amreena was declared brought dead by doctors while as her 10-year-old nephew has received bullet injury on his arm and is stable.
Meanwhile government forces have cordoned off entire area to nab the attackers. — (KIMS)
