JKPICCA Elections Conclude: Basheer Ahmad Naikoo takes charge as President, aims for Global Market Expansion

PULWAMA [Mudasir Maqbool] (KIMS) — The Jammu and Kashmir Fruits and Vegetables Processing and Integrated Cold Chain Association (JKPICCA) held its elections on Saturday at the Directorate of Horticulture office in Srinagar.

Members from the organization cast their votes, electing Basheer Ahmad Naikoo as President and Mohammad Ishfaq as General Secretary.

Addressing the media, Naikoo shared his vision to upgrade infrastructure, enhance cold chain logistics, and boost international market access for the region’s premium produce.

He emphasized his commitment to prioritizing farmers’ issues and securing global recognition for Jammu and Kashmir’s fruits.
