MeT forecasts dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Meteorological Department on Wednesday forecast dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir for the next 24 hours.

The weather was dry and cloudy in the Union Territory during last 24 hours.

An official of the Meteorological Department said, Dry weather is expected in J&K during the next 24 hours.

He said, Srinagar recorded 2.7 degrees Celsius and Pahalgam 1.7 degrees Celsius while Gulmarg recorded minus 0.8 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Wednesday.

In Jammu region, he said, Jammu recorded 13.1 degrees Celsius, Katra 11.5 degrees Celsius, Batote 6.6 degrees Celsius, Banihal 5.7 degrees Celsius and Bhaderwah 3.2 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.

In Ladakh region, he said, Kargil recorded minus 1.2 degrees Celsius and Leh minus 5.4 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
