Militants give slip to forces in encounter at Parigam Pulwama

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The militants have managed to give slip to government forces in an encounter at Parigam village in Newa belt of Pulwama district in South Kashmir on Saturday.

The encounter had broke out between government forces and militants at Parigam village of the district on Saturday afternoon. However their was complete lull after the initial exchange of fire.

The militants managed to have escape from the site of encounter after which the operation was called off.

Earlier a joint team of government forces including Indian Army, J&K Police and CRPF had launched Cordon-and-Search-Operation (CASO) at Parigam village in Pulwama district following the inputs about presence of militants in the area. — (KIMS)
